BFP III: Football and Friends for Hospice Casa Sperantei

Dear All,

We have decided to brave the weather and hold the third edition of the Bucharest Football Project against all winter previsions!

The patients looked after by Hospice Casa Sperantei still require our support and FC Steaua Bucharest was among the first to offer its help. Indeed, after the event in 2009, BFP is returning on the pitches of the famous Bucharest football club!

To hold a yet another memorable event, we need 10 teams in the local Construction and Property sectors.

Click here for more information on the event and here to download the sponsorship contract for Hospice Casa Sperantei.

We hope we will be able to have you with us on the occasion of BFP III, further our together cause and enjoy a great day at FC Steaua!

Best,

BFP II Score Against Pain: Participation

Company teams and individual professionals in the local construction sector are invited to join our cause and help us raise funds for the Hospice. We are aiming to draw 20 teams of 7 (seven) players each. Please read below for details regarding participation and registration.

COMPANY TEAMSregistration during May 18 – June 5 (please see How to Register section)

The participation fee will be paid under the form of a donation to Hospice Casa Sperantei and comes to the amount of EUR 500 per company wishing to enter a team with the company’s name in the event.

The payment will be performed through the closing of  a sponsorship contract with Casa Sperantei (attached in the How To Register section).

Your place in the competition will be confirmed upon the receipt of the donation. To avoid unpleasant circumstances, we will closely monitor the history of payments made to Casa Sperantei. In order for a team to be considered official, at least three out of its seven players should be employees of the respective company.

INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONALS – express of interest during May 18 – June 5, confirmations during June 8 – 12 (please see the How To Register section)

We understand that there might be companies that will not make the donation above to enter an official team in the event, but whose players may nevertheless be interested in participating. These are welcome to contribute with the symbolic donation of EUR 15.  They can also organise themselves in teams bearing names relevant to the construction industry. Alternatively, they will be redistributed to other teams still in need of players prior to the event.

BFP II Score Against Pain: Return on Investment

Considering the current circumstances, allotting EUR 500 to the support of a charity cause may be among the last things on a company’s list of budgeted expenses. Still, we believe that in addition to helping a whileworthy cause, the event will also get professionals in the industry the occasion to meet and branch out their contacts on the market.

Your donation will also get participating companies:

  • Inclusion in the press releases issued to the relevant online and print media audience after the event;
  • Coverage of the event in the construction & real estate press;
  • Coverage of the event in the Corporate Social Responsibility and sports press;
  • Possibility of participating companies to display a corporate banner on the stadium on the day of the event;
  • Opportunity to branch out relationships in the local construction industry;

Please don’t hesitate to contact us for further ideas and recommendations.

BFP II Score Against Pain: Selection of Players

 As the event addresses the construction industry, we would like to see as many professionals participating as possible. Upon submitting the members of their team, all companies + independent players should also send their afferent work e-mail addresses, which will count as a validation of the players’ belonging to the construction sector. These will not be transmitted to third parties.

Whatever the membership of a team (company team or individual professionals), we ask all participants to remember that the goal of the competition is to work for a good cause, while having fun and showing a fair play attitude. Foul play will not be tolerated.

BFP II: Score Against Pain!

Hello all,

As promised, we are coming back with the details regarding the organisation of the second phase of the Bucharest Football Project. Following the feedback offered on the pilot phase, we would like to incorporate a fundraising component in the event’s upcoming edition. This is a direction we would like to swerve  BFP into, while also maintaining it as a regular meeting and networking point for the professionals in the construction industry.

To this end, we would like to organise a second phase that will help us raise funds for Hospice Casa Sperantei, a local NGO offering palliative care to the children and adults who suffer from incurable diseases.

The idea of helping Casa Sperantei was prompted by participants in the pilot phase themselves and we hope this is an initiative we will see from future editions.

For the June event, however, we would like to focus on supporting Casa Sperantei. We hope that the efforts put in the organisation of the event and the contributions that will be made by the participating companies will lead to providing the help the NGO needs in running its activity. More details on Casa Sperantei and on their cause – above.

Organising the event with the fundraising component in mind, we have altered the number and structure of the teams. To make our goals happen, we would like to get 20 participating teams (7 players per team, goalkeeper included) to enter the competition in exchange of a donation that will be made directly to the charity.

More above,
